Ofgem | DDaT

Summary

Founded in 2000, Ofgem is the regulator for the Gas and Electricity Markets in Great Britain. It strives to protect consumers to deliver an equitable energy system.

After forming its in-house Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) capability, Ofgem sought the help of the Residency team to build these capabilities and the technical infrastructure required to support them.

Prior to the engagement, Ofgem’s existing project delivery model was fragmented with varying standards and SLAs in place making it relatively slow to react to the evolving needs of the organisation. Working closely with the Residency Team, Ofgem established an in-house DDaT capability, with robust civil service capabilities to respond to emerging demands.
